Little Rock Shops

I needed to take  break from adding content to the blog so I went to check out the @LRShops twitter account to see how many followers we have now. In little over a week we have 53 followers. Not bad! The majority of them are in Arkansas however a few are outside the state. Just waiting until we get one outside the country.

I am totally fascinated by Twitter. Contrary to popular belief, teens and young adults are not the primary users of twitter. It has become a HUGE marketing tool for celebrities like Demi Moore and Oprah; Magazines like Harper’s Bazzar and More; Religious figures including the Dali Lama, and even the White House. Little Rock retail businesses on twitter are R K Collections, Barbara Jean, THREADcitywear, and Jeante just to name a few.  Even the Arkansas Razorbacks tweet updates during football games.

Unfortunately, it can be huge time sucking waste of time if you don’t pace yourself. With that being said, if you don’t have a twitter account you really ought to get one because then you would know that Jimmy Choo is coming out with cheaper line of shoes. It was tweeted by about a dozen fashion magazines when the news broke.
